We would love to book you... how can we save our date?
Fantastic! - Say hello and I'll reply with my availability and options.
A booking is confirmed with a retainer fee for your date.
-
do you use real film
or is it a look on digital?
If it looks like super 8, it is always real kodak film.
I began only shooting super 8mm weddings
but began to offer a mix with digital after a few years.
I love shooting super 8 only for a whole wedding.
Both approaches are possible and you can even ask for one edit
to be completely super 8 and another to be mixed of you wish.

How do you film weddings? With a sense for the moments that feel unmissable. Editing happens while filming, imagining how it will piece together. Over 10 years in creative direction and 10 years creating wedding films, I can avoid ticking boxes & commit to filming impulsively.

Must we meet before the day? It would be lovely, but not vital.
You have enough people and other things to worry about planning a wedding. |

What are your Favourite venues?
We have been incredibly lucky to work in some of the most amazing venues around Europe to make wedding videos in
Paris, Lake Como, Tuscany and Provence, but there are still plenty on my bucket list...
To name just a few in France, I always love Chateau de Lartigolle, Chateau Rigaud, Chateau de Lisse, Chateau la Durantie, Chateau de Puissentut, Château de Varennes, Chateau Saint Martin,

Do you film speeches?
|
Yes I can... whether choosing a super 8 only or misxed package with digital footage, you can book this as an additional extra or it may already be in your package.
Apart from the fact that speeches do not offer much to our style as there is little movement, Super 8 cameras no longer have sound recording capabilities. That is why we use more film on other moments and offer to record speeches as a separate video or audio file which you can always listen to or watch back. You can of course ask me to add snippets though or in an edit if you wish. Can you replace a photographer & do both? No.
Although I offer collections of still images reworked from video, this is to be seen as a bonus to your video or the larger quantity of amazing images your photographer will create. If I do both, guests will look at me more into the lens, the whole feel of my films will change, it's just not worth it. It is better to have each job well done by a dedicated person. Drone Footage?Yes & No.
If covering a weekend of if there is plenty of time and weather permitting, I can use my drone to capture establishing scenes of a venue. During the wedding day my focus is fully on the ground with people and moments. If you feel you need more extensive use of a drone I am able to recommend Antony Lancashire who is a good friend and is a licensed drone pilot in France who can travel with me. You can book him together with me or independently as you wish. Enjoy taking a look at his work here. www.antonylancashire.com |
