Spielberg & Tarantino fight for film to survive for many reasons.
A major one however is because it will outlive other mediums.
​Your negatives can be scanned again when USB / DVD's become damaged and obsolete. You have them in your hands unlike products of the invisible digital world.

 I love real film because…

…there's something about Super 8 that always slaps you in the face when you see it. An unrivalled honesty that serves up the core of the occasion, etched in your memory.

I fell in love with it after coming across a reel of lost childhood memories, suddenly made immortal with a flickering window into the past. 

Blending in with all the HD filmmakers isn't for me. ​I'd rather work with less people for ​precious moments. Those who see a super 8 as an alternative wedding film. A chance to focus on sentiment creating something that stands the test of time. Whether in Paris, a cold day in Ireland or a sunset in Provence or Italy, Super 8 grabs everything the light has to say and arrests for us to marvel at.
